The Tsum Valley Manaslu Circuit Trek is a 17-day trek into one of the most remote and culturally rich areas of Nepal. This expedition combines the secretive Tsum Valley, famously known as the Valley of Happiness, with the classic Manaslu Circuit, giving the trekkers a tranquil blend of religious heritage, Tibetan-influenced culture, and dramatic Himalayan landscape.
The expedition offers spectacular glimpses of Manaslu (8,163 m), Ganesh Himal, Baudha Himal, and Himlung Himal, as well as glaciers, high passes, and untouched valleys.
Exploring real Gurung, Magar, and Nubri villages, trekkers walk along old routes by the Budhi Gandaki River, across suspension bridges, rhododendron forests, and some of the most remote alpine meadows. Buddhist monasteries in the Tsum Valley include Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa, which are lined with prayer flags and mani walls to emphasize the religious history of the region.
This adventure is ideal for those who wish to experience both the culture and the wilderness. The Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) provides both meditative scenery and an adrenaline rush. The route has fewer trekkers than other Himalayan trails, offering a more personal and authentic experience.
