The 5-day sightseeing and cultural tour of Kathmandu, Chandragiri, and Nagarkot will provide you with a step back into the ancient, rich legacy of Nepal, and a chance to enjoy some tranquillity in the mountains. You will start with the capital and explore ancient temples, crowded courtyards, and centuries-old stupas, which demonstrate the profound spirituality and art of the valley. All the stops provide access to the living history of Nepal, where the Hindu and Buddhist influences are harmonious with the colorful local culture.
Outside of the heritage of Kathmandu, the adventure takes on a turn into the hills, where tranquility takes the centre-stage. On the Chandragiri cable car ride, you are taken soaring above forests and rolling terrains to a hilltop resort. It is there that you will have panoramic views of the valleys, and on a clear day, you will have a glimpse of the distant Himalayas. The stay is an equal mix of exploration and rest, which allows you to enjoy the serene nature of the hills of Nepal without having to travel too far out of the capital.
The last leg results in Nagarkot, a tranquil hill station where the sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayan mountains is breathtaking. This serene adventure allows you to take your time, indulge in the fresh air in the mountains and enjoy the breathtaking scenes that cover the Annapurna and Everest on a clear morning. Going back to Kathmandu, the trip is an exploration of culture, sightseeing of the scenic beauty and relaxing holidays- a perfect short yet full trip into Nepal.
This begins with Kathmandu, where you will explore the historical wonders of the city: holy temples, exalted stupas and royal palaces. The valley is spiritual and highly artistic, as evidenced by such places as Swayambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, and Pashupatinath Temple. It is there you go to Chandragiri Hill. A ride on a cable car provides the spectacle of life in the city and that of the tranquil picnic on a hilltop. The scenery covers Kathmandu Valley, and on a good day, you can see the magnificent Himalayan ranges- an exception compared with the urban scenery you have just visited.
The next destination is Bhaktapur, a medieval city with complex woodwork, tall temples and lively cultural practices. The trip then continues to Nagarkot, the hillside village that is renowned because of its Himalayan views. Mornings in these places will take the memorable view of the sun coming out of snowy mountains, which will take the natural glory of Nepal. The journey will be finished with going back to Kathmandu, where you will have to rest, go shopping, or just explore the city and then have a typical farewell dinner.

When you reach Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be very much welcomed by your guide and made to go to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing, rest and acclimatize oneself to the city altitude. During the evening, go on a stroll around Thamel or the market district of Kathmandu or go on a relaxing dinner which includes the traditional Nepalese cuisine, which prepares you for your adventure in the coming days.
Start your day by taking a guided tour around the Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing with the iconic heritage sites that include the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Get acquainted with the Nepali spiritual and artistic culture with your experienced guide.
Afternoon: Drive to Chandragiri Hill and have a scenic ride on the cable car to your hilltop resort. Get the best possible panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the distant Himalayas, followed by a comfortable and relaxing evening.
Post breakfast, visit Chandragiri and then to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an old city with medieval architecture and Newari culture. Visit temples, palaces and courtyards such as 55 Windows Palace, Nyatapola Temple and become engulfed in the colorful local vibe. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Nagarkot, where the spectacular views of the Himalaya and serene atmosphere can be observed. Take a little stroll through the place and spend your evening in a quaint hilltop resort.
The first thing to do in the morning is to get up early in the morning and see an impressive sunrise over the Himalayas, which will be one of the most memorable events during your trip. You should have some leisure time after breakfast to enjoy the serene environment or just have some peace at the resort. Go back to Kathmandu and spend the rest of the day shopping, sightseeing or having a spa. During the evening, you will have a farewell dinner with cultural dance performances, and this is to celebrate the journey that you have undertaken.
Your guide will then help you get transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport, where you will depart after having breakfast. Spend a few last minutes pondering over whatever you have recollected in Nepal.
